A lot of places we like to eat you need to book before hand so we may have missed our opportunity thinking about catching the train into town and hoping for the best…..





The rabbit hole is one of our favourite places and if that means I only get a chance to have a drink or a jellied G&T so be it, it is well worth the experience. Maybe my liking towards the rabbit hole may be my obsession with Alice in Wonderland or it could be the to die for dine and wine experience! The rabbit hole is a little eccentric, but in a delightful tasty manner. I am looking forward to popping in there for a drink and maybe a bite to eat.

Love this day in September bring on the AFL grand final!
Much to my disappointment my team (Carlton) is not participating this year, even after getting a leg up into the top eight thanks to those cheating bombers. They clearly didn't want it as much as I did and no amount of screaming at the TV was going to change their pathetic performance against the Sydney swans.

Any who I am in the midst of making up an array of unhealthy snacks including some chilli lamb sausage rolls and waiting patiently for my bottle of Jansz to chill. I have enough food to feed an army and suspect we will be living on leftovers for the next few days.

Kick off is about to start and I best get myself a beer to start the game, may the best team win!

Almost half time and can I say WTF are Fremantle doing? My Facebook is going mental with status updates of disappointment and triumph, and clearly the umpires are to blame for Fremantle's ability or lack there of to kick a goal when standing right in front of it!

Looking forward to the second half and here's hoping the score gets a little closer I love a sitting on the edge of my chair waiting to see who will gain the glory.

Organising of a girls weekend to Melbourne

So my girlfriend is organising a Trip to Melbourne for her 50th Birthday, to start with it was going to be a midweek Melbourne cup few days but have now decided to go the weekend following the "Big Race" less people we hope, still heading to the races.
Accommodation Booked staying in Flinders Lane nice and close to food and alcohol yay! so she sends me a message to tell me that she has booked the flights we have carryon luggage only OMG!!! I can fit my makeup and shoes in carryon and trust me I am not a girly girl who wears lots of makeup or owns a bizzilon pairs of shoes it's just how can you pack for 3 days in carryon to Melbourne! Melbourne weather is so unpredictable as is Sydney weather these days:
I am sure I will work it out!
